Reading Night
We’re teaming up with Murray State’s Alpha Upsilon Alpha again for another Reading Night at the Farm!
Join us on April 23rd, starting at 5:30 PM at the farm (1101 Murray Paris Road) for a fun evening of reading and animal cuddles!
How it works:
We’ll post on are facebook the names of our available reading buddies along with time slots. Just comment on the post to claim your spot!
Each time slot is 20 minutes, giving you plenty of time to read and spend some quality time with your animal.
To make sure every child gets a special experience, we ask that you avoid interacting with the designated reading animals unless you’ve signed up for that time slot. Feel free to visit with our other animals, though!

Easter Egg Hunt
Join us for our 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at A Place to Be Farm Sanctuary on March 29th!
This event features Easter egg hunts for all ages, with over 12,000 eggs hidden throughout the farm, prizes, and fun activities for everyone.
We have an Adult Hunt (21+), featuring egg hunts with an fun prizes and a $20 donation fee. Kids’ hunts are free, with a suggested donation of $5 per child. All children are welcome regardless of ability to pay.
Activities Include:
Easter Egg Hunts for various age groups
Face Painting
Critter Cuddles with Farm Animals
Photos with the Easter Bunny
Games
A chance to win prizes from local businesses like Wits End, Petsence and more
There will be a participation waiver to fill out on the day of the event.

Santa Photos
Mark your calendars for Dec 13th at our local Murray Tractor Supply!!! Santa will be in town for pictures!!! Bring your kiddos or your fur babies!!!
This is a fundraiser for the farm, so donations appreciated <3
Murray Holiday Parade
If you are free this Saturday, come join us for the Murray Holiday Parade. We will have a small float and be walking a few animals in the parade. Please messages us on social or email if you are interested and so we can give you more details.
Also, if you have extra candy laying around the house, let me know. Well be happy to take it off your hands!

$25 donation and 100% of the proceeds go right back the rescue. Imagery by Hill West is teaming up with Beth and the rest of the us at the rescue to do fall mini sessions again!
Murray Community Night
We will be joining the Murray Police Department on September 9th for their community night event!! We will be set up at the park with a few of our critters so make sure to come visit us 💖
Easter Egg Hunt
It's official....our annual Easter Egg hunt will be Sunday April 6th at 2:00pm! We will have 3 age groups for the kiddos and of course our adult hunt! Each age group will have a chance to win prizes, the eggs with a golden coin in them can be cashed in for a prize. The adult hunt will have the participants hunting for eggs and some beverages. There with be 4-5 eggs with a gold coin that can be cashed in for a prize basket for the adults.
As always, the kid hunt we ask a donation to our rescue but all children are welcome to participate regardless of ability to pay.
The adult hunt is $20 to participate.
We will have some baskets available for purchase as well.
There will be photo ops with the animals, games set up, coloring station and the big guy himself, The Easter Bunny.
Can't wait to see everyone there!!
